The “What’s your excuse project” was born in my head a few years ago. I’ve not done anything with it since because I didn’t have the time. Well, that was my excuse. The purpose of the project is to demonstrate exactly that if you know what you need to do and why you need it, you can make it. And that doesn’t depend on your background, ethnic, educational, financial and so on. There are many people in our lifetime and in the past who have shown us that impossible is nothing.

As it is with many things, someone has already done what you want to achieve, so you can mirror the best people in the field and do what they do. If the thing you want to do hasn’t been done yet, that’s clearly your time to shine.

The key is to believe in yourself. Even with their best intentions, people will find tens of reasons as to why whatever you want to do is not possible, or not worth it. When that happens you just need to believe in yourself and stay true to your desires.

The “What’s your excuse” project will help you gain confidence by showing you that people with similar circumstances in life have made a difference in the world.

The idea is to remind you that the fact you come from abuse family, you can still grow to be a brilliant person. One of the many examples for that is the inspirational life coach and business strategist, Tony Robbins. If you’re black you can still make a good name for yourself like Oprah Winfrey, Barack Obama and millions more. If you’re worried about not being able to make it because of your sexual preference, just look at the beautiful celebrity couple Ellen de Generes and her wife Portia de Rossi.

The project will visualise (once all data is gathered) the different circumstances people have been into when they have made it, it will look at their past, area of expertise, educational, family and financial background, and around 20 more criteria.

Remember, your past doesn’t have to match your future. The fact that you’re not entirely happy with what you’ve achieved to date, doesn’t mean you can’t change this. It’s up to you to live the life you deserve. All your struggles should be seen as challenges you needed to overcome to get to where you want to get to in life. All you need to do is to take the first step towards your better self.

The project will use data from the lives of the most successful and inspirational people in the world. Personally, I’m on a mission to meet as many of those people and get tips on how to survive in a world where people try to impose their limiting beliefs onto you.

As Steve Jobs once said, “those who are crazy enough to think they can change the world usually do.”, so go for it!
